Is creating my gallery really free?
Yes. Creating the account, opening the gallery, publishing your artworks and keeping them online are free: no subscription, no listing fee, no per-artwork fee. A commission is charged only on an artwork that actually sells.
Do I need to be a professional artist to apply?
No. Passionate amateurs, art students and seasoned professionals apply in the same place. We look at the coherence of the work and the quality of the visuals, not at a status or a diploma.
Can my application be rejected?
Yes: ChromaMarket is a curated gallery, every file is read by a curator and not all are accepted. One email address may submit only one application — so polish your portfolio and the presentation of your approach before sending it.
Who sets the price of my artworks?
You do, artwork by artwork, and you can change it at any time. You remain the owner of your paintings and stay free to exhibit or sell them elsewhere in parallel.
When am I paid after a sale?
There are two payout modes. In direct mode, funds land in your own account through our payment provider, without passing through the platform. In platform mode, we pay out your share within 7 days of the funds being received.
What happens if I do not sell anything?
Nothing. Your gallery stays online, for free, for as long as you want. Since there is neither a subscription nor a fixed fee, a period without sales costs you nothing.
Can I share my gallery outside the site?
That is the point. Your page has a stable public address to put in your Instagram bio, on your business cards or in your email signature: you share one link instead of ten photos.
